Mission Yucatán is a Christian ministry based in Merida, Yucatan with the goal to serve the local church and community-based ministries through acts of compassion and support. Our projects range from feeding the homeless to caring for children who are abandoned or rescued from abuse. We parter with a small foster home, a Bible and sports camp, and a small pueblo church.

The pastors and community leaders who we help care deeply about the families in their surrounding communities, and they bring light to dark places on a daily basis. We hope to share the light of the world, our Savior Jesus Christ, with those whom we meet.

Our ministry was established in 2017 and now includes a full time Donations Center to receive, sort and donate items such as clothing, shoes, food, backpacks and school supplies, bicycles, sports equipment, laptops, and pretty much anything that could be of use by another. Please contact us for more information on how you can help, whether in the US, Canada or in Yucatan.

For more information please email darcy@missionyucatan.com or kary@missionyucatan.com or call us at 403-247-2145 or locally at 999 335 0645.

If you would like to make a donation, please click here to go to our Donate page. We can issue tax receipts in Canada and the US.

  1. Hola Kary and Darcy…I just thought I’d try out this new blog! Be assured that Julia and I are praying for you both and your family. You’re probably still in Canada as we are, but the doors will open again for us all to go back to Mexico in 2-3 months, I’m sure. If there is a specific way to pray, let us know by email or this blog!
